The Women Cell at Patna College of Pharmacy is committed to ensuring a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for all female students, faculty, and staff. It acts as a platform for addressing issues related to gender equality, women’s rights, and personal development.
Objectives
- To promote awareness of gender equity and create a respectful campus atmosphere.
- To address grievances and concerns related to women sensitively and confidentially.
- To organize seminars, workshops, and counseling sessions on women’s health, self-defense, and leadership.
- To provide a forum for discussion and support on issues concerning women in education and the workplace.
Activities:
- Celebration of International Women's Day and Women Empowerment Week.
- Guest lectures by female achievers in pharmacy and healthcare fields.
- Awareness campaigns on topics like menstrual hygiene, mental health, and legal rights.
- Workshops on self-defense and personal safety in collaboration with local law enforcement.
The Women Cell serves not only as a grievance redressal body but also as a source of inspiration and strength, encouraging women to voice their thoughts and thrive in every walk of life.
